Bank Manager

We are aware of the business model of Banks, from small scale banks to a bigger commercial banks.  However, Bank Manager still supports the business model by having the following features (partial list):

 

• Customer Manager - including the ability to define types of customers from

  • Individual Customers

  • Joint/Grouped Customers - with a list of Individual Customers linked to the Group

  • Corporate Customers

  • NGO, and other Clubs, Organizations Customers

  • Government and related Customers

  • additional types can easily be added

  • You can have more than 100 thousand customers per branch.

 

• Account Manager - including the ability to define types of accounts.  100 types can be defined under each of the major types -

  • Current Accounts,

  • Savings and Deposits or Investment Accounts,

  • Loans Accounts.  

  • Contingent Accounts are also supported

  • Bank Manager allows each branch to have over 100 thousand accounts, no matter how many branches.

 

• Operational rules, like

  • how income - interest/charges are earned or

  • how expenses, interest expense are paid and

  • how accounts are controlled and managed are

             defined by types of accounts

 

• Accounts are attached to a customer type.  For instance, an account can belong to a group or a joint customers - whose members are individually listed and can individually have different responsibilities and % of share to the account.

 

• Loans in Bank Manager are treated as “first-class citizens” - meaning that a loan account will have transaction history just like any other account type, but will also have either a fixed repayment schedule or dynamic repayment calculation (like an overdraft account - with principal and interest repayment calculated dynamically)

 

• Repayment schedules can be of

  • reducing interest + increasing principal repayment or

  • fixed interest + fixed principal repayment
